Carl L. Stouffer Construction Co. (an Arizona Corporation) is a family owned and operated business that was established in mid 1974 by Carl L. Stouffer Sr.  The company started out with a broken down truck, a small masonry crew, a carpenter and a few laborers, one of whom was Carl Stouffer Jr. (current company President and contractors license holder).  Greg Jester (current Vice President), Carl Sr's son in law joined the company in 1978.  We have completed numerous commercial and residential projects since that time.

 

We have worked for several national chains as well as local companies in the commercial market.  Some of our clients are, U-tote-M Markets, Circle K Corp. Taco Bell, Sonic Drive Ins, Conoco Phillips Petroleum, Truly Nolen of America, Dairy Queen, Raytheon Missile Systems and others.  We have also done many commercial tenant improvements and remodels.

 

We have built several custom homes as well as a few smaller "tract" type houses, a sixteen unit apartment complex, and a small hotel, and we have completed numerous residential remodels and room additions.

 

Our scope of work ranges from a $175.00 repair to a $1,750,000.00 office building.  We have extensive experience in convenience store and restaurant work as well as high quality custom residential work.

 

Two of our more notable projects are the "Savoy Opera House" in Trail Dust Town (on Tanque Verde Rd.) and the Truly Nolen Corporate Office building on Speedway Blvd.

 

Almost all of our work comes to us by referral or repeat business from satisfied customers.  We achieve this through careful attention to detail and by using a core group of trusted sub-contractors and suppliers.  Although our vendor list does change from time to time, we have been working with most of our subs and suppliers for ten to thirty years.  We know we can trust them and they know they can trust us.
